  • Error During OID Configuration: Apply Java Required Files Failed

    I was installing Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and faced an issue during configuration phase of OID. The error was at Apply Java Required Files failed as shown in the below image



    If you hit error like above then search the root cause of the issue in log file of OID Configuration (/oracle/database/oraInventory/logsThis location of this log file is defined by /etc/oraInst.loc in Linux ) and I found an error likes problem invoking wlst in the below image




    The log location for OID configuration is mentioned in /etc/oraInst.loc . To know more about oraInventory, refer the following links oraInventory basics and oraInventory in Oracle

    In my case issue was with Installation of Weblogic server and re-installation of WebLogic Server fixed this issue. Refer WebLogic Installation steps here
